Bill Evaul
Bill
Evaul studied painting and paintmaking at Syracuse University
School of Art, and Pratt Institute with graduate seminars at the
Whitney Museum of American Art. In 1970 he was awarded a fellowship
at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown where he continues
to maintain a studio. Bill is a foremost authority on the Provincetown
Print, also known as the Provincetown White Line Woodcut. He teaches
a week long class at Castle Hill Art School in Truro every summer
to teach this historical printing process. Bill is also a well
loved musician in Provincetown as the bass player with Willy and
the Po' Boys.
